What type of events, activities and support does PTA provide for our school?

Examples include: Math, Reading, and Wellness Enrichment Programs, Classroom Allocations for Teachers, Artist in Residence and Naturalist in Residence Programs, Book Fairs, Welcome Tea, Back to School Open House, Harvest Carnival, Sock Hop, Newsletters, Student Directory, Science Fair, OMSI Presentations and Field Day.

How does Mt. View PTA fund and organize activities and events?

We rely on the generous contributions and efforts of our Mountain View Families! This includes money from donations and membership fees, as well as money raised through fundraising programs coordinated by PTA volunteers. Fundraisers such as Jog-athon, Silent Auction, Scrip Gift Card Sales, Escrip, Restaurant Nights, Box Tops, Campbell’s Soup Labels and Book Fairs. Every contribution that you make helps provide enrichment for all the children at Mountain View Elementary.

What does PTA do to make these activities and events happen?

All activities need the support of volunteers. PTA coordinates volunteers and places them where they are needed. Please remember: the contribution of your time is just as important as your financial donation. In order to keep the various activities going, we need your help. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, to let us know how you’d like to help.
